Ashlar Stones
CLEFT FINISH SURFACE / NATURAL SURFACE OR SAWN SIDES / RANDOM OR FIXED LENGHT
Porphyry ashlar is one of the finest wall cladding materials for completing external spaces, adding a touch of historic class and architectural beauty.
External facades clad in porphyry ashlar have a beauty which lasts over time.
The individual slabs of ashlar used have a visible part, or face, which is squared off and split in a way that shows off the natural texture of the stone.
These ashlar cladding blocks are made in such a way that each individual element has a height varying between 14 and 18 cm, or between 15 and 20 cm, and a depth of between 12 and 14 cm.
However, ashlar bricks with a sawn base can have a height of 8, 10, 12 or 15 cm, with recesses measuring between 6 and 8 cm or from 6 to 10 cm.
It is the perfect material for covering internal or retaining walls, but also for completing either the entirety or parts of external facades.
